Where Did The World Come From?
The Genesis account gives us where the world came from by the spoken word of God. For too many God is an ambiguous term. So who made the world? Jesus Himself made all that is. This may come as a surprise to many.
To identify Him as the creator we must look to the writing of John and Hebrews. These are not the only sources for gleaning this information yet it is definitive in their own right. In knowing who the creator is one can begin to see Christ and His plan for the world more fully. Deeper understanding can be had to the purpose of the world and the ultimate plan for salvation.
Creation In Hebrews
God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
Hebrews 1:1-2
There is no doubt that Hebrews gives clarity as to who the creator is. Make no mistake our purpose of why we were created is unique. The opening of the book begins to share with us the story of Christ. This book was written by Paul and its purpose was for identifying to the Jews of his time who Christ was.

Within the life of Christ the people rejected Him which in turn led to the crucifixion. As the Church grew the people began to see what they thought was a new faith emerge. What they did not understand was that it was not a new faith or religion at all. Rather it was the continuation of their story with God.
Paul brings to their minds the identity of Christ through this book. He explains that Jesus was not a mere man but rather God. He is the Son of God. In verse 1 of chapter one Paul recognizes that God spoke through the prophets in past times. Yet in verse 2 he shifts to Christ.
He states that in these last days God has sent His Son to us. It is through Jesus that God spoke giving us salvation and the Church. It is in the last portion of verse 2 that we find two critical notes. The first being that Jesus has been appointed to be an heir of all things. This in of itself is prophetic speaking to eternity.
We then see that it was Jesus who made the worlds. Today we would take this statement with a more modern understanding of the term worlds. We would think of other planets and galaxies within the universe. Yet this is not the full definition which Paul is speaking to.
Here Paul is speaking to our physical world but also what lay beyond what we can see. With this world we know is also included the spiritual worlds and also future worlds which will come post Revelation 20. Definitively it is Jesus who is Creator of all things from the beginning and foundations of the world.
Further Clarity Found In John
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
John 1:1-4
We learn from John that in the beginning was the Word. The use of this term is interesting by John. It refers to the word Logos. For the Jews who looked to the Old Testament they would immediately recognize that the Word is an instrument of Gods will in how He communicated with them. It was the personification of God’s revelation.

For the Greeks they too would recognize a similar meaning. It would be the means by which God created material things and the way in which God communicated with them. John goes further with his explanation in relating that this Word was not merely a vehicle of communication or working but rather a someone.
He states that this Word was with God from the beginning. The word was denotes more than the moment of creation. It speaks to a timeless beginning. In other words it reaches back before the foundations of creation.
In verse 3 we are given great clarity in how the same statement is made in two different ways. First John wants us to know that all things were made by this Word. Yet he uses the term Him. This gives personification to a physical being rather than a metaphorical definition. It is impossible for this Word to be merely a vehicle or method of communication. The Word has the power to create as a person.
John then doubles down with his statement just in case anyone was attempting to use circular reasoning. He says that there is not anything which is in existence which was not made by Him. In this way all things we see and know where created by this Word.
Verse 4 completes this definition as to who this Word is. There is only one who brings life to men. There is only one name where one can find life beyond this world. It is the very premise of salvation. It is the very purpose for why this Word came into this world to die for us. It is Jesus Christ Himself in the person.
The Son And The Father
If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?
John 14:7-9
The Jews had a difficult time coming to the realization that Jesus is their Messiah. This is still true today. Nevertheless God promised Abraham that He would forever be a God unto the Jews and they would forever be His children. This is part of the Revelation story in how God will fulfill this promise bringing them to him before the end.

In John 14 we see Philip asking to see the Father. This comes after Jesus telling them that He must go to prepare a place for believers. He was telling them that although He will leave temporarily that they know the way and where He is going.
Thomas speaks up saying they cannot know where He is going nor how to get there. Immediately Jesus informs them that He is the way, the truth, and the life and that no man can approach the Father but through Jesus. There is no alternative route.
This is in of itself interesting with the religions of the world today wanting to bring equality of all faiths under a general context of god. I use the little g in the word god for the reason that it no longer has a personification when this general context is used. Why is this realization important?
To remove personification is to deny the author of all things and creation itself. In other words in knowing that Jesus is the Creator we then know the source of not only all that is but that all truth can only come from Him. Therefore all other gods become irrelevant and imaginations of human thinking. It is here we begin to understand that there can only be one way, one path to God, written by one Author.
Philip then asks Jesus to see the Father in verse 14. Jesus whether in a rebuking or perhaps a disappointed statement to Philip gives His remark. He states that Philip has spent so much time with Jesus yet still at that moment Philip does not realize who He is. He then states that whoever has seen Jesus has also seen the Father.
This statement by Jesus reinforces the importance of understanding the identification of who the Word is in John 1. Within these texts we gain more insight than simply who created all things. We also gain from these text the authority of Christ and His deity in being God. We also obtain an understanding that with one author to all things there can only be one path rather than multiple avenues under a generic god.
The Problem With Religion
The term religion has become a problem by its use in contextual definition in the world. With this comes what falls under this context by its use. Presently our world is divided into two camps based upon general world view. One side is science. The other side is religion.

With the term religion comes all faith based systems that are tossed into the same bin. This attempted perception is pushed for the reason of making science the authority to all things. Yet with science alone we arrive at new problems.
Among those issues are things science cannot answer such as life after death. Science would say we cease to exist for there is no proof nor evidence scientifically to any form of life after death. We have a similar problem with science when it pertains to the origins of the universe although they point to evidence in their theory.
With evolutionary theory they take evidence from the natural world and conform it to their theory. The only time when theory changes is when evidence would break that theory. My problem resides less in their claiming to have a theory but more so in that they present it as facts of science. Theory cannot be fact. Facts stand resolute and are not altered like a variable.
It is impossible for them to prove the origins of the universe. There is no scientific model where this can be done. Rather they present theory as facts of science. In essence they have created their own religion based upon theories which can be proven false.
When it comes to the religions of the world there is a very clear purpose and reason for taking Truth and making it as other so called truths. If one removes the deity of Christ making Him nothing more than a mere mortal man the Truth becomes nothing more than another religion.

This is why I hate the context of the word religion. If an evolutionist read my short rant on science before this they would have bleeding eyes for me calling evolution a religion. I have the same reaction to calling Jesus and the Truth a mere religion.
When Creationist Science can prove and validate the creation story in Genesis but the scientific community squelches and punishes those who would prove this we have a problem. No longer is freedom of thought or speech allowed within a field that is supposed to be about freedom to explore.
Rather a narrative is chosen and if anyone opposes this narrative they lose their credentials. That is not science. That is more like the Inquisition of a Medieval time.
Religion is now a word used to create a context for all things imagined or man made such as fairy tales found on the Disney channel. Within the context of scientific truth the Creator of the universe being Jesus is made no more than the imagination of ignorant followers. This is done while they have no answers to questions which have been asked since the dawn of recorded history.
Recognize The Origins Of The Universe
If we were to recognize the Biblical account and use scientific proof to its validity one would come to be surprised. The scars of the Earth would validate the Genesis account far more readily than any evolutionary theory. In doing this we would be able to define that we do have an Author.

Validating Genesis would in turn force one to bring into focus the message behind John and Hebrews. The identification of Christ as the Author would make one recognize His deity as God. One would have to accept that not only is He the Author of the universe but also that of salvation.
In doing this we arrive at answers which science cannot conclude. Not only can we find answers to life after death and the origin of all things but also purpose to life. Suddenly you are not a mere animal or freak of genetic evolution. Your life and all that you are is for a reason. You have value.
What I find ironic is that mankind always seeks to establish power through its authority of systems. Whether it be science or government the result is the same. We become mere animals governed by a system that knows better than we do as freedom is taken from us in our identity, choice, and direction of life. Why should we trust or believe in anything that would make us an animal for herding by mere men who think they know better?
